Good Dog Bar

I went to Good Dog last night with my boyfriend because I raved to him about the Philly location and how amazing their Good Dog burger was so we popped in a little before 10pm. I asked the bartender for a margarita with Espolon Blanco and Blackberry and it was super delicious. Bartender Gianna asked us if we were ready to order and we needed a few minutes but then we sat for a while waiting to order our food because she never came back over. Finally after making her round down the bar, we got her attention and ordered our food. The Guinness beer cheese and pretzel bites were delicious. My boyfriend got the Short Rib Grilled Cheese which he said was also delicious, but as for my Good Dog burger, I could say otherwise. Bun was hard as a rock and cold, the patty was hot on the outside but the second I bit into it, ICE COLD. The cheese didn’t even have any signs of melting (which I distinctly remember “gushed” out of my burger that I had at the philly location), just a cold ball of cheese sitting in the patty. I would have traded for something else but the bartender never came back over to check to see how our food turned out. I figured I would ignore that and at least get a few drinks in, but the bartender spent a majority of the night, sitting on one of the ice bins talking and flirting with the boys sitting in the middle of the bar. We stacked our food to get her attention so we could grab the check. She took the food with her and didn’t care to ask why I only took two bites of the burger. I had two margs in a span of an hour and would have liked more but we chose to close our check, which her dropping the check was the best service we got besides my two delicious margaritas. The couple that sat next to us, started eating their food as we closed out and complained about their food being cold too. In general, the bartender could have and should have done a better job. I will not turn away from Good Dog because of my bad experience at the AC location, but I will definitely be calling to see who the bartender on will be. No offense. I just want good customer service as every guest should have. ‍♀️

Guinness on tap and good food. Will stop in again.

Had the Cape May Always Ready on draft. They serve it in a frosted glass, my god that was good. To eat I had the gochujang chicken sandwich, which was great. The fries are the best fries I’ve ever had. The bar tenders are very friendly as well.

Burger was good. Bartender very attentive. Prices are absolutely ridiculous for what you get. They charge like it's a casino
