Gong cha is an international beverage franchise specializing in freshly prepared bubble tea. With a successful business model and proven track record, it has opened over 2000 Cafes in 20 countries. Although the Davis Square location has the support of a large company, it is a small business owned by a Somerville High alumni who believes in community engagement. The space is designed to encourage the coming together of friends, family, and community.
