If you are looking for five star worthy chinese food this is it. Best chinese food in New Hampshire.

We tried the Golden Tao for the first time last night. The decor could use a refresh (the booth seats vynil covering was cracked and worn). We started with a Scorpion Bowl for Two which was potent but did not taste quite right. We ordered two Combo Plates (Beef & Broccoli with Chicken Teriyaki and Pork Rice and General Tao's Chicken with Beef Teriyaki and Pork Rice). We also ordered Egg Rolls and Crab Rangoons. The Egg Rolls were average and the Crab Rangoons were excellent. Both main dishes were average, the Chicken Teriyaki was a thick, juicy slice of chicken but not flavored with traditional Teriyaki sauce. I liked it but my wife was disappointed. The Beef Teriyaki was really good. The Pork Fried Rice was tasty but seemed like an afterthought. It was served in a small bowl (about 5 bites worth). We will be returning to the Golden Tao restaurant to try some other dishes but we will definitely reorder the Crab Rangoons, Beef Teryaki and a larger portion of Fried Rice.

Delicious. Best crab rangoons around, as they were not sweet. Dumplings also excellent. Everything was good and ready to go!

A quint little restaurant. The staff was amazing and attentive. The night we went it wasn't busy so the kitchen was fast with the orders. Food was delicious and flavorful. Portions were a good size too, you wouldn't leave hungry.

Definitely the best Chinese to be had in Manchester- and it’s difficult to find good Chinese food in Manchester! We live across town and go out of our way to order from here. The generals chicken is always nice and crispy (not soggy like most other places), the crab rangoons are tasty and not the weird sweet kind, egg rolls are perfect…I’ve heard from so many people that this is the only place that they’ll get Chinese food and I can see why! The only kind of weird thing is that sometimes they’ll take your payment over the phone, other times they won’t. Oh well- definitely not a big enough issue to make me want to stop getting some really good food from their restaurant!
