This takeaway was taken over from the old owners. I used to ring up and discuss what dishes are suitable for vegans and they would be able to find out or know what is suitable. After ringing today for the first time since the place was under new management I was not able to find out what was suitable and they weren't able to take my order. To be fair, the person on the phone was polite and tried their best but wasn't knowledgeable about the ingredients. Knowledge or the ability to find out should be standard in food establishments due to the law regarding major allergens. Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian dishes.

First time using golden start but will definitely use again. Food was lovely and very good value for money. Staff where so polite and friendly .

Ordered on the phone polite gent on the end took our order. Food was ready in 10 mins, Very generous portions plenty of meat and very good flavour. Tasted amazing will definitely come again and recommend We ordered duck rice ( it had loads of duck in it amazing for the price) The pork chop suey was loaded to the brim with pork Duck and vegetables was again full of duck and brilliant tasting Cheers James

Not bad food ..friendly I guess..shame they don't lole other places gibe free crackers I'd use more often if they did The one we often use give free crackers on a£15 spend and also free bottle of cake on a £25 spend

Lovely food, good sized portions. Really great price and real chips!!!
