Golden Hawaiian BBQ

It’s not a bad place, the cashier wasn’t very friendly. I got the curry and it was good.

Loved it me and my husband go there all the time!

I thought I would give this place a shot. I asked what the cashier recommended, and she said the teriyaki chicken was popular. That's Japanese, but what do I know. It was very pedestrian. There is some spam on the menu, but aside from that, this is nothing more than a glorified Asian-themed fast food spot.

I have been a loyal customer for over 5 years, ( I had one good review but deleted it due to this experience)never did I have any issues until this cashier/asst manager appeared. This lady is very rude and has an attitude when ordering large amounts of food. My last experience was my last. I had tooken my girlfriend out to eat here once, i ordered two orders of Chicken amd Beef Teriyaki plates to dine in, I opened my plate and I noticed that my Beef teriyaki was full of fat and no Beef. I immediately showed the cashier/asst.manager lady and she told me sorry that's what I ordered, I immediately asked for the manager but she said that I had to wait 20 min for him to maybe show up. The cook in the back heard me and gave me 2 new plates with no fat, the cashier/asst manger told me "you happy now" i asked what did you say and she ignored me and turned around. I didn't return to this establishment for over 9 months. After those months I figured the food got better and the management so I returned. I entered the restaurant and apparently the cashier/asst manager lady was still there and she recognized me. I ordered one Chicken and Beef teriyaki plate for me to dine in and I told her that I haven't been here due to the last bad experience I had. The cashier/asst manager lady told me "if you don't like the food go to Filibertos like your ppl do", I told her she was very unprofessional and that I wanted to speak to the owner, she told me she was the owner and to leave. I told her I would be doing a review on this restaurant and on her. There was 3 other latino couples there waiting for there food and asked for there money and told her she was racist. This establishment had good food but went down and to add insult to injury this Cashier/Asst manager has no customer service skills to include manors. Very disappointing with this small business that I supported for so long, I will never go back.

Came here with my husband. We ordered 2 meals.They gave us one sauce each. We asked for more sauce and she said they charge extra for sauce. Every other Hawaiian restaurant provides enough sauce for the barbecue. We ordered 2 full plates of meat. I will not be coming here again.

I prefer the competitors Ono to this Hawaiian BBQ. They are limited in the sauces they provide. They also have smaller servings.

Hello Everyone, please ve WARNED! the young lady at the front taking orders is so Rude and unprofessional arguded with me on having my chicken not cooked together because of food allergies. The cook was very polite helpful an willing to assist by cooking the chicken and shrimp separate. However the young lady proceeded to not and call the manager literally and took the food back. Just very very rude and unprofessional for over priced. I will be filing a complaint with store Manager and will not recommend due to very horrible and unpleasant service. I wish the was a 0 to give for service. Be Warned...
