Great place and tasty drinks. Location is hard to get to and Doordash doesn't have their full menu so I can't have one if my go-tos without traveling
Such a yummy drink. I even bought the cup so I can get refills.
Small cute stand, I ended up getting the bulb for the cup. It has lights at the bottom, but unfortunately it's pretty pricey ($5), so pretty much doubles your drink price. Though, apparently you can take the thing back and ask for a refill for less.* You take an order at a screen, which was fine, but there were no options for sweetness or ice**, only what toppings you'd like or snacks on the side. Which the ice was fine, since it was crushed and in a small amount, but I wished I could've adjusted the sweetness. Also... For a menu tab called "boba milk tea", I would've expected that the drink I got already included boba and you wouldn't have to pay more for the topping, but I guess not. Anyways, service wasn't great***, but it's what you'd expect from teenagers working for some hours. Overall, experience was alright. Edit: *Went back, and the refill menu is right next to the order counter, where you're supposed to get the refills. **Turns out you can adjust sweetness and ice amount at the counter, and ***service this time was actually really good! Charming and helpful people. Definitely recommend going there, and maybe it's because it's different people or because it's an earlier shift, but the people there are very nice!
A great local business with the fun gimmick of serving your teas and drinks in glow up lightbulbs. Not once have I encountered poor service at this location, nor subpar drinks. The smoothies are great, as are the Boba options. The price can be a slightly high, but considering the quality of the drinks and the fact you can refill the lightbulb at a discount, it can actually become rather affordable if you plan on returning, something I highly recommend doing!
Very cute and flavorful boba tea and waffle treats
The light bulb idea is hilarious and cute. The boba itself was good. I got the Thai tea and it wasn't the best, but it was good. Just be warned that this place is a little pricey for a boba milk tea place, especially if you get the light bulb version. Would recommend to at least check it out.
Still the best boba for me!
Bought the Passion fruit Glow tea at the Puyallup State Fair and was extremely disappointed. The price of the smallest size option was nearly $20 It wasn't filled all the way, had no sugar at all, I did order both the boba and lychee toppings and didn't say if they were extra or not and it was still bitter. Customer service wasn't rude but they definitely weren't happy to be there. It's been a week now, and I did take home the cute little lightbulb they give you. I figured that's why the name Glow tea, no in fact a week after the fair we realized there is a little switch on the bottom to turn on the lights and make it glow pretty colors, it's really bright too! Super cool, it would have been awesome to use it too had we known. The novelty of it was cool, but I don't plan to buy again when it didn't take good at all.
