Lovely, friendly, unpretentious. With a good range of beers. Now, tell me... what's not to like?
Nice cosy pub usualy good entertainment with a variety of beers and spirits
We booked a room for the night so we could enjoy the sights & pubs of Belper. We arrived a little early but the room was ready so we checked in and went to drop off our bags upstairs. We were on the second floor facing out to the main road but it wasn't too noisy which was nice. The room itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was an ensuite with toiletries, tea & coffee facilities, a small ironing board and an iron. The bed was so comfy but we were a little unsure about the duvet as it was a little thin but oh my goodness it kept us very warm (in fact we had to open the window!) There isn't anything bad to say about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone that fancies a night away. There was a band on when we stay and they were brilliant so look out for the live artists and you won't be disappointed. Thanks to the team for a lovely stay, we'll see you again soon
Used to be a decent place to watch the rugby. Not today. Tv too quiet (despite me and others asking for it to be turned up), not all televisions on. The quality of the beer avoided a 1 star review. Sad to see the place like this.
The Grantham Town Fc away daze fans popped in for a pre match drink before playing Belper Town Fc. It looks like a nice pud to visit, for people who are passing through or people who live locally
Good honest drinkers pub with fantastic bands and exceptionally beautiful ensuite bedrooms
