Gene's Root Beer and Hot Dogs

Can't wait until they open next year!

Delicious Hot Dogs, french fries & root beer.

Make the hour drive back home to Anderson a few times a summwe just to make sure we get Gene's. Parking: Drive up with car side service. Some street parking available for walk-up/picnic table service.

The atmosphere was fine for a root beer stand. The service was mew but super fast like the food was under a hear lamp already prepared. Which leafs to the food. It was awful, I was already prepared and under a heat lamp. Corn dog had no crunch. Just soggy. The fried mushrooms tasted like they had been sitting in oil and the fries were, well, soggy. Root beer wasn't bad.

Three of us went here. I got an order of onion rings. I did not particularly like them. Something was just off about the taste. We got two gallons of Root Beer to take to our son in law. He loves the Root Beer from here.
