Gelson's Irvine

An obnoxious employee named Neil who claimed to be the manager and treated me most rudely. And an outstanding employee named Jeff who made up for the treatment I received earlier from Neil.

VERY HANDY ! We needed to grab a couple of items unique to Gelson's. Lucky for us this store is just a 6 minute drive from our new address in Irvine. My wife and I headed inside about 3.30pm..it's an old outdated looking supermarket. We picked up 1 x 6 pack of Arrowhead mountain spring water ( our fav ), 1 x Mezzetta sliced Greek Kalamata olives ( the best ) and 2 x 4 packs of Van Leeuwen ice cream bars ( hazelnut fudge crunch & toffee brown sugar )....these are our new fav ice cream bars. Friendly service at the check out and we were gone !

Don, who was visiting from the San Juan Capistrano store, was outstanding. He helped us find Key Lime Juice. He is knowledgeable, professional & courtesy.
