The food here is absolutely spectacular. Better than 90% of pubs I've been to. Couldn't recommend it enough. Reasonable price too

We arrived at 14.35 to have a spot of lunch to be told they had stopped serving , although cut off for ordering was 15.00 this is the third time in as many months not good enough.

Why. Just why. All ways come in for our sandwich and chips at £6.99. It's not a bad price. And all ways good. Have never been charged extra for a toasted one. But now it's a £1 extra for it to be toasted. That then makes it expensive. So only ordered one as my son was very hungry. So won't be coming back. I don't understand that the way the UK is at the moment (struggling) Business can't just do something nice. The machine is on. It costs nothing to toast a sandwich. The machine takes two sandwiches minimum. So to charge extra £2 for the two sandwiches it's not on.
