Amazing food, but if you want to get full you need to spend €50/person for lunch. Prices probably twice the average restaurant €€€
My favourite txuleta in San Sebastian. Has just the perfect thickness. All the pintxo are amazing, but it is crowded at all the times and there is a bit of wait.
Stunning food, very busy but well worth the wait to get in, an absolute must if staying in San Sebastian!!!
Absolutamente increíble. Sois unos cracks!
We had a fabulous lunch at Ganbara downstairs with a reservation. So we can only order from the menu, not tapas from upstairs. The wild mushroom was truly amazing, the razer clams were juicy, and the grilled entrecote was tasty and tender. We ordered 2 wild mushroom dishes as I loved so much. And the waiter and waitress were very nice and always smiling. To be honest we were a bit nervous reading some early reviews about the rude waiters. But they were so nice! Thanks!
Food is delicious, probably some of the best flavors in the area. Pintxos and small plates are a bit pricier than the average you'd find in San Sebastian. The kitchen is a bit slow for the larger warm plates, but the flavors compensate for it. Overall I'd recommend getting in line and giving it a try, especially in the early afternoon when the wait time is shorter.
One of our favorite places we ate on our whole trip!
