Friends Fish Bar Minsterley

Brilliant place. Food hot and tasty.

Just moved to the area, and wanted a quick dinner without cooking, and nipped into Friends. Was glad we did, as the chips were amazing - thick, hand-cut & freshly done. The fish was lovely too, not too heavily battered. It's nice to see they have a choice of fish too, and lots of other bits on the menu. The owner gave us some of his tasty cheesy pasta dish to snack on while we waited, which was a nice warm welcome to the village! Will be back soon to try the souvlaki & the kebabs.

Such a lovely takeaway. Loads, and I do mean loads, of food. The owner, Stelios, is friendly and welcoming. Can't recommend highly enough.

Nipped in for lunch and saw a £5.50 Mini Fish chips and mushy peas or curry sauce, I had the mushy peas, the fish was big enough to be a large fish at most other places and the chips were superb. It was cooked to order so had to happily wait and it was well worth it, bargain at that price! If I'm ever passing I would stop in again.

what an absolute Gem of an eatery . completely unfaultable!! Clean, friendly owner and staff, great food with lots of variety, loads of extras and i mean loads of extras. free!! and all delicious too. i recommend the chicken curry once you’ve been here you surely wont go anywhere else, ever! there are just too many average eateries these days but not this one. just absolutely incredible!!
