Fresh Thyme Market

I came in to shop tonight, and the attendant would not allow me to check myself out at the self check out. My husband told her he could do it himself. She took one look at us and our cart and insisted. Then, preceded to self check us out. Other people were at the self check out, and she didn't offer to assist any of them. We shop here quite often, usually in the evenings, and have never had to this happen? It was a strange situation and felt overly awkward, and I was uncomfortable. Please don't look at my cart in the self check out and then check me out after I have stated I can do it. What you're implying is grander than that. I can self check out, honestly and effectively by myself.

I absolutely LOVE this market!

Usually, I love this place and visit often! Today I asked one of the employees a simple question and she just said flat out no. When I asked a little more detail, she gave me an annoyed look and said she’d have to ask a manager. I’m not sure if she walked away to call them or just walked off. I waited a few minutes while she talked with her friend at a nearby cash register and eventually just took my purchases and left.

I love going to fresh thyme! It's more intimate than the big business grocery store. I only buy my produce there and never have a problem with how fresh it is. Nor have I ever had the problem with the one "bad" fruit in the bag. I do enjoy that because of the freshness. I am not pressured to eat it in the next few days, but I have at least a week.

Love the meat and produce here, went last night, and a young man named Thomas helped me. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you, Thomas
