This is a solid 4.5 star place. Didn't try the sides but the meats are great. Everything was cooked perfectly. The ribs are literally fall off the bone tender but a bit on the salty side. If you want a beef rib, get there early. The brisket is very good but I recommend the lean over the moist as the marbling can be a bit over powering. Tried all 4 bbq sauces: Regular/Spicy/Vinegar/Espresso. All 4 tasty and unique. Regular and Vinegar might be worth buying a bottle of. My only complaint is that they drench the butcher paper in so much Tallow its almost unbearable. Literally the bottoms of the trays, the butcher paper, everything is oily due to this. We got in line at 930am and got inside around 11:45am. Plenty of parking available. Not bad considering it was a Sunday. Definitely a bucket list stop!
Love the bbq, bit expensive but worth the extra coin.
Another check off on the old bucket list! This place is like visiting the Vatican of BBQ! Parking: Get here early
Hard to tell, they were sold out 2 hours before their advertised hours
Post 2024 April 8th eclipse visit, got in line with my wife at 11:45. Had multiple visits from the employees stating that we were in the "probably not going to get food" part of the line; my wife convinced me to stay the course. Got up to the ramp and had another disclaimer that "all the guarantees were inside the door", stayed the course. Got inside and began to count people past the "guarantees", +1, +2, +3.... There's still a chance... Finally, there were about 6 people in front us, we got the, "there's just brisket, ribs and turkey left". I'm thinking to myself, what were people ordering? That's the best stuff! Got up there, ordered some brisket, ribs and got the last of the turkey! Never loved BBQ more in my life, I mean my wife. My wife. Turkey was alright, ribs were good. Brisket can't be beat! Little over two hours in line, but the payoff was worth it. Thank you, Franklins!
Really juicy and tender brisket, but also really salty. Felt like I was sucking salt out of my teeth all day. Also way expensive. This guy is raking in the dough for his meats. One trip is enough for me.
Wii definitely go back again.
