Alex was our server. She made fantastic suggestions! The pizzas were phenomenal! We will be back!
Austin was awesome, food was great, drinks were great, staff was superb. We had a great time.
Parking is a nightmare
EXCEPTIONAL! Visited twice during our trip to Annapolis. Service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Pizza was the best we’ve had in downtown. Highly recommend!
This is a hidden gem! The service was great, love the bar, food was really good, the cocktails were on point. They also have a great selection of Whiskey. The Old fashioned was one of the best I ever had.
had a friend pick up a pizza for me. But before i even ordered i called and specifically asked if the ‘Marissa’ pizza had a marina sauce base because it wasn’t listed on the menu. i was told yes by the host so that’s what i told my friend to order. Lo and behold, no sauce, just bread cheese and soppressata, which might be ok for some, but was not my vibe. I had some pasta sauce to dip it in when they got back. i guess if you call the restaurant make sure you’re talking to a manager cause the person i talked to obviously has no idea what they’re talking about.
Stopped for drinks after dining downtown. Waitress was on point! Wife ordered a questionable cocktail then switched to mules which were spot on! Cool spot to check out in Naptown!
The food is superb however the service was not. I’m a server myself & totally get how overwhelming it can be when it gets busy but our server didn’t even introduce herself, did not check on us ONCE & she was extremely passive aggressive. Also towards the end, she said she couldn’t split the bill which was fine but was acting like me & my 4 friends were a nuisance because we had to pay separately. When I’m serving I never have an issue splitting a bill or writing down who got what, it’s 2024 and it shouldn’t be an issue. She also deemed us as a large party (5 people?) I’m assuming to get automatic gratuity but we were going to tip anyways of course. Hire nicer people. That treats everyone of all colors the same.
Love this place! Great food and great service at an affordable price in downtown Annapolis.
This place is a trendy below ground gastropub in the heart of old Annapolis. It specializes in small plates and pizzas-but you're really gonna get a pizza aren't you? And most likely a microbrew or locally sourced drink. I gave it a four-star review because it's not really pizza culture, but the rest of the food and every pizza we had was quite good when it was washed down with a sour ale or a local IPA. And in this world of paying a lot to go out to eat you feel like you had an experience in in ultra chic no window bunker style pub.
Three words. Duck Fat Fries.
Yep, you have to order them. If you don't, you're not my kind of people. Just kidding stranger, but seriously, they have some cool foods here and if you are a sommelier of potatoes like myself, you will be thrilled by the offering here.
The pizzas are all unique - some I love, some I don't, but even the ones I don't like, I'm impressed with the flavor profile and how they made it work on the pizza. Just doesn't usually satisfy my craving.
Local beer selections are probably the best in the downtown area of Annapolis. They curate beers from around Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware, and they are fresh and constantly rotating.
The cocktails are creative too if you're looking for something more artisanal.
The vibe is cool as it's in a cellar and it's easy to miss the entrance when you walk by. They are almost always full, so I highly encourage arriving on the earlier side if you don't want to wait.
Very sexy little upscale joint for couples to enjoy a nice drink. Their food is very good, just limited.
Nothing too special. We had the duck fat fries and a pizza. The fries were above average while the pizza was pretty standard wood fired quality. My cocktail, the Sneaky Neighbor, was pretty good though.
