Roxanne and her team at Foodwerx were an absolute DREAM this year! Our wedding was in June 2024 at the Camden County Boathouse and we hired Roxanne and her foodwerx team to cater the event. Everything was simply perfect. Guests RAVED about the food (so delicious and unique) and amazing atmosphere. A large part of atmosphere is created by the people that run your event! A BIT ABOUT ROXANNE: I met Roxanne while touring the Boathouse. She happened to be there setting up for a wedding, and I could see just from her energy that she would be a fantastic person to have with me day of the wedding. Roxanne is so much more than she is listed as; her attention to detail throughout the entire process, love for what she does, and amazing people skills are only a few of the perks you get when it comes to Roxanne. She checks in with you throughout your entire wedding process to make sure all the details come along smoothly. She connects you directly with a few crucial outside vendors which was extremely helpful. The way she explains all you need while still managing to keep your mind at ease is true talent! I'm someone who gets flustered easily with details, but Rox made everything bite-sized and seamless. We had a large bridal party and Rox made sure they were all prepared day of! She also checked in with me and my husband throughout the wedding to make sure we ate the amazing food (which can easily slip away when you're busy talking to guests), drank, and that we had everything we needed- all while being an actual superhero moving at lightning speed! A TRUE WEDDING EXPERT. Some of the guests even commented on how amazing she was!! The food is fantastic and unique. (GET THE FILET MIGNON). The whole crew is fantastic. I am overwhelmed by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the products and the effortless that happened at my 50th Birthday party. Food Was amazing, Staff were EXCELLENT ! I highly recommend and will be using again for sure !!!

We booked Foodwerx in August and our wedding was in March, giving us the perfect timeline. Roxanne, the Bridal Specialist, was simply the best. She was communicative every step of the way--and as a person who loves lists and charts, Roxanne became an instant bestie! We started planning early and got down to the very last detail. Roxanne gave great insight, recommended excellent vendors, and liaised communications smoothly! As we got closer to the date, especially in moments when I couldn't find an answer or didn't have time to execute something, Roxanne was extremely proactive and went right ahead and did it. Day-of, Roxanne kept everything flowing, handled all the decorations, and the ballroom looked exactly as I had envisioned it. And of course the food was so delicious! If you book Foodwerx and (like every couple) miss out on the food on your big day, no worries because you get PLENTY of leftovers to enjoy for a long time! After the wedding, Roxanne sent photos that she took throughout the day to me. This is the extra touch you will NOT get from any other catering company. This company truly provides a service that goes beyond just serving food. For whatever event I have in the future, I will be sure to contact Roxanne and book Foodwerx!

We did extensive research to select the caterer for our wedding, and it paid off- Foodwerx was AMAZING. Everyone raved about the food, including some very picky guests who said they almost couldn’t eat dinner because they got full on the incredible appetizers. The specialized theme stations were all fantastic; and we can tell you that, as much as we agonized about making the perfect selection on everything, you really can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. The presentation of entering was simply spectacular. The crew…they were very nice folks, did a great job taking care of anything and everyone, and were great for us to work with. They made the day go incredibly smoothly. Greatest of all though was the head of the team, Roxanne DeHart. First, she kept us on track many months in advance, keeping things on our radar and keeping track of every decision and we needed to make and every arrangement that needed to be to be made. She was truly the wedding coordinator, well beyond the food. Roxanne managed the day of brilliantly; this included helping us determine whether to hold it indoors or outdoors, which- due to challenging weather- changed multiple times even in the last 30 minutes leading up to the ceremony (but the guests didn’t know that :) ). She just thought everything all day and all night, so we didn’t have to. We would recommended Foodwerx and Roxanne to anyone and everyone!

Wow! We were beyond impressed with Roxanne and the Foodwerx team. Roxanne held our hands through every detail and speed bump leading up to our wedding day. She was super patient through any changes that we made, an entire date change, and all of the questions/concerns. She gave us great advice, professional suggestions, while still letting us have complete control of what we wanted on our special day. When our wedding day finally arrived, she handled every aspect of the setup, displayed all of our decor exactly how we wanted, and helped to keep us calm through all the stress. We truly felt like we were in such good hands with Roxanne and the Foodwerx team. Our servers were attentive, friendly, and hardworking. All of our guests had great things to say about the food, the service, and professional hospitality that the Foodwerx team provided. Highly recommend this group for your wedding/event. We booked foodwerx for our wedding on 10/20/2023. Roxanne, the Bridal Specialist, through foodwerx was absolutely amazing. Prior to the day-of she was organized, extremely communicative, and really helped guide us in the right direction in terms of food choices, decorations, and timeline. She gets started with documents and planning very early, which I absolutely loved. It really helped us shape what me and my fiance wanted the day to look like. Roxanne gave her own input, which I also love, because she's the professional and does this all year round! Each time I had a call with Roxanne, she would give little 'pearls of wedding wisdom' which were amazing tips/tricks that she's picked up through her experience. Day-of, everything was SO smooth because of Roxanne, she handled all the decorations and vendors and was there for my fiance and I with anything we could possibly need. Photos, food, drinks, you name it. She helped wrangle family for toasts, entrances, dances, etc. On top of all of that, the food was AMAZING! All our guests raved about the food at the cocktail hour and the pumpkin ravioli at dinner. After the wedding, Roxanne followed-up to ensure we were happy and had the best time, and she also sent photos that she took throughout the day to me (and my Dad). So incredibly grateful for Roxanne.

From the moment I reached out for information to create a tailored menu within my budget, Nick and Taylor from Foodwerx Caterers were incredible to collaborate with. Their prompt responses and willingness to accommodate my event's needs were exceptional. On the night of our event, their team arrived promptly and hit the ground running. They had everything set up beautifully before our guests arrived, and the display was absolutely stunning, especially the hanging charcuterie presentation. Their staff, although I regrettably forget their names due to my rush of preparations, were outstanding. They were proactive, ensuring everything ran smoothly and encouraging me to mingle with guests. They even seamlessly and efficiently managed to help add additional table setups when we ran out of room due to guests that didn't RSVP arrived. Their support was invaluable, allowing me to focus on engaging with attendees. Overall, Foodwerx Caterers went above and beyond, exceeding all expectations. I highly recommend their services for any event, as their dedication and attention to detail truly made our networking event a standout success.

IF I could give half of a star, I would. I recently attended a wedding at the camden county boathouse. The actual boathouse was beautiful. Foodwerx was the caterer and they were TERRIBLE.... The food was packed up before all of the wedding guests were able to get into the buffet line. I found myself being the one to tell tables on our side of the room that it was time for them to go get something to eat. (It's a good thing I did or else they would not have gotten anything to eat) Wedding Cake.... the majority of the guests didnt even see wedding cake. Desserts weren't served.We were told the cake was packed up for the "after party" that didn't exist. Roxanne was the queen of disappearing. ROXANNE WAS TERRIBLE. She was rude, unorganized and was not approachable. As an immediate family member of the grooms family, she was not very welcoming when she was approached by me and other members of the family. Any time I would approach her with questions as I was the mother of a child who was in the wedding, she would rush me away and was very sarcastic and not nice. I feel like there is not enough time in the day to explain how awful she was. This is not her calling. She is not good at her job. She rushed us away and was full of empty promises. She would only say what we wanted to hear and then not make good on what she said she was going to do. Roxanne argued with the brides parents in front of the whole bridal party before they were introduced to all of the guests. (Very uncomfortable to witness that in front of children) She was supposed to order champagne glasses as the brides father purchased champagne for a champagne toast. She stated to both the bride's mother and father that " I WOULD KNOW IF THERE WAS CHAMPAGNE BECAUSE I WAS THE ONE TO ORDER THE GLASSED AND THERE ARE NO CHAMPAGNE GLASSES". I also would like to say that there were handicapped guests that she did not assist with special accommodations for them even after it was requested. I requested assistance to her directly multiple times just to have her disappear. I was the one who had to assist the handicapped guests as she was not helpful to them AT ALL!!! Not impressed and I WOULD NOT HIRE ROXANNE AGAIN! I feel sorry for the people who have to work for her!!! If you are looking for a caterer with a awesome wedding coordinator.. you should keep looking because ROXANNE with FOODWERX ISN'T IT!!!
