Flying Sushi

Love this place! I always get take out here. The teriyaki is great, as is the sushi and bento box. I just tried the donkotsu ramen. The lady behind the counter said I should eat it in the restaurant because it's not good as take out. I got it home and it was great. Packaged very nicely and well thought out. The egg was soft boiled and still had a runny yolk after half an hour. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is always welcoming. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The two gentlemen behind the sushi counter are always so kind and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience at Flying Sushi tonight. Start to finish everything was great. We had a sashimi platter, specialty rolls, some nigiri, and short ribs off the grill. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend giving them a try. Also everyone in the restaurant was extremely nice and inviting. I can’t wait to come back.

Clean, simple, incredibly delicious sushi at a good price. Lovely, genuinely kind people in a casual spot. Best in Tacoma no competition.

Amazing service and good food! My coworker and I always ordered a bento box and sashimi donburi. It was flavorful, plenty of food and filled with a variety of delicious veggies! Love this place!

Slept on sushi in Tacoma. Consistent quality for over the last year. They have gluten free soy sauce and their rice is gluten free. Beautiful presentation, you can tell the chefs have a ton of experience. It’s also very very clean!

first visit, wonderful menu food was excellent. Fish very fresh

As soon as we walked in we were greeted. Sat where we wanted too as there were no one else here. Most of the people coming in were picking up to go orders. The environment was really nice. Staff checked on us when necessary but also didn’t feel rushed that we were able to just sit and eat. Will definitely come back again.

I love everything about this restaurant. Every is delicious, fresh sushi amazing yakisoba, I go on. When you in Tacoma make a point to shop there.
