Each Flaco's Taco begins at dawn. That's when the ladies arrive to prepare fresh tomatillos, jalapeños, and habaneros to make our famous fresh salsas. They prep the masa and smooth out the banana leaves and dried corn husks for our homemade tamales. They hand-grind cuts of fresh steak. These ladies didn't go to a fancy culinary school. Their skills were learned at home, from their mothers, fathers, aunts, and uncles. We may serve your Flaco's Tacos quickly, but we take no shortcuts in our preparations. What we don't prepare ourselves, we source from trusted partners, like El Milagro Tortillias. We take pride in our food, and we take pride in our efforts to recycle, reduce waste, and use biodegradable products.
