First Watch

This is not my favorite place but I don't mind eating here. My wife son and daughter-in-law absolutely love it here though.

DONT order takeout here, it’s best that you sit in & eat your food. Each time that I’ve ordered takeout from here I’ve always had an issue with my food, but this time I got hair in my food, and the managers were extremely nonchalant about the situation. Then, when I asked for my money back, the black manager short me six dollars and when I went into notify her again, she had the audacity to ask me if I were sure. I don’t recommend people to return to this location, but to each is own.

I just had the worst dining experience of my life. I was not feeling well but had to stay near my daughter’s class. So I went to First Watch and ordered a juice. It was delivered with a fly on top of it stuck to an ice cube. I sent it back with the server and she picked up the ice cube and saw the fly. Then another drink was delivered with a hair on the glass. I was like wow, you have to be kidding me. I am calm about it. I am like what are the odds, you can’t make this up. So I send it back. I don’t ask for a gift card or a free drink. I just ask for a third drink. But the server is frustrated with me and gets and attitude so I ask to see the manager. Then the server goes and tells her manager who has an even bigger attitude. I try to explain what just happened but am shaking and on the verge of tears. So they ask me to leave. I get frustrated and say all you had to be was nice. She then says she will call the cops if I don’t leave. I hug a sweet grandmother full of compassion on the way out and that helps a little. I am so glad she was there at that moment. All I needed was a hug.

Our first stop during the 2024 eclipse trip. It appears that whenever we are in KC at brunch time we end up at First Watch. This time we ordered a BlackBerry Sangria and a Cinnamon Toast Milk for drinks. For entrees we had a Hacienda Hash and a Chickichanga. As typical, service was great as was the flavor.

Brunch with friends or family is always a win-win at First Watch! The food is amazing and the customer service is amazing! Dietary restrictions: First Watch is always careful to ask the right questions when I request gluten-free meals! They are mindful of my needs and are confident when bringing out my food. I'm never worried about whether or not my food has been prepared correctly. Parking: The parking lot is clean, easy to navigate, and has many curbside spots for handicap needs. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is set-up with easy traffic flow for both wheelchairs and walkers. Once seated there is plenty of nearby space to move your chair/walker to be out of the way.
