Amazing food, would highly recommend!
Long time Firenze patron, such happy delicious memories over the last 25 years. I was quite surprised tonight with an "ok" meal that cost too much. I don't know if recipes/chefs have changed, or what, but the positive thing was the asperagus. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For the negative, we all hated the bread (you used to serve beautiful rustic Italian bread); couldn't eat the bruschetta (overly complicated (balsamic and an olive?) on burnt awful bread-keep it simple and on rustic Italian bread); the sauces and flavors on all the pasta dishes were not what I'm used to. They weren't terrible, but they weren't special or worth what we spent. They didn't taste fresh or full of love. I'm not sure that we'll go back. Super sad and hoping it was just a fluke.
The dishes were overpriced for what they were, and the taste was average at best. And service was unprofessional. Missing forks in our cutlery when we have our appetizers. Although the waitress did clear our table after the appetizer, she failed to bring us new cutlery, leading to a wait until we had to flag her down for it. The worst part was when she lost our credit card during checkout, only to find it later on the ground. It was quite off-putting when she asked my husband if he was certain he had given her the credit card. We don't mind paying around $100 for a meal, but the food and service here did not justify the cost. The menu on google may suggest a price range of $20-30 per person, but unless you only order pasta, expect to spend closer to $50 per people. We enjoy Italian food and will try other restaurants, but we won't be returning to this one.
Amazing place The people are great and we love every dish that we try. Thank you for a memorable dinner!
Food made with love, service that makes you feel welcome! Great wine and atmosphere. This place has been my favorite for years!
Absolutely delicious Italian cuisine. I had the lasagna (pictured below).
Very high prices, for average ambience and below average food. There was little to no options for chicken, which was disappointing. Portion sizes were really small - we ordered a gnocci and sphagetti A+ salmon which was absoluteley insipid for the high price that we paid. Absolutely would not recommend.
It’s my mother’s favorite restaurant. They are so accommodating and the food is delicious.
classic old style italian american food.
