What a great place. Went for a birthday for a friend. A bit pricey but overall worth it. Great looking place they kept the industrial feel which I think is great.

Very good restaurant. It’s a cafe in the morning so you can grab good coffee and a pastry to go or to hang in their gorgeous space. The dinner service is some of the best you can find in the city.

First time going after hearing so much about this place. The food, Service, and atmosphere was all great. Had the Elote Yucca and Pernil sandwich. I'm looking forward to coming back for dinner.

Went here for a birthday dinner last night. After hearing nothing but great things, we were excited to give it a try. The restaurant itself is a decent size, with a bar and three different seating choices. Upon walking in, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. There was tasteful decor and art on the walls. Service was good, but it was not too busy on a Tuesday. Now for the food and drinks, the menu had many craft beverages and creative food combinations. Everything seemed to be locally sourced. Prices are to be expected for quality ingredients. However, we ordered appetizers that were brought out too close to the entrees. Also, I ordered a steak (NY Strip) that was cooked medium well when I ordered medium rare. The meat was spiced and flavorful so not a huge deal, but definitely something to be improved for next time. Overall, I give FxF a 4/5. They did comp us a free dessert with a candle which was a nice gesture. I do feel like maybe we went on an off-night, it was about an hour before close. The biggest plus of the restaurant is that it pays its employees a livable wage (adding an 18% charge to every check) and gives back to the local community. Always happy to support non-profit business! I would recommend and I will return! Parking: There is a big lot next to the restaurant.

What an amazing meal! The service was impeccable. Everything we are was delicious and exceeded expectations. We'll be back! The chocolate torte was the perfect end to our meal. Parking: Small lot, where we were lucky enough to snag a spot on a midweek evening.

Amazing Brunch! The friendliest staff ever. Everything was so good and tasty. The banana bread French toast is to die for. Everyone was very happy with their food choices. And they gave crayons and coloring book to our daughter.

This is the kind of place we could use more of in CT! All around excellence. The wild mushroom empanadas were amazing!

Loved the mushroom empanadas and the kale salad. The dressing was wonderful on the salad too. Hamburgers were large and juicy. Great vibe and waitstaff cheerful and quick. Lots of vegetarian choices too.

Wonderful dinner at Forge by Fire. The food and service were excellent. Bonus- felt great to help the community! I highly recommend
