Good place to have Fish and Chips. Service could’ve been better. Atmosphere is great. Food is above average.
Best fish and chips I've had in Winnipeg at my favorite place in the city, the forks market.
Best pickerel and chips! Best halibut and chips! Try them both :)
Oh my. Food was straight gas. Fish lightly breaded, seasoned well, slightly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chips were slightly crispy, seasoned well, succulent, and cooked proper. Tartar sauce was very nice and flavorful. Portion is pretry generous. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back.
I was there in January visiting from out of town. Been there a few times in the past but this time I got the worst runs after eating there. The lady at the cash was very cold. Nothing to do with Fergies but the local security team was all over me until I left. I was born and raised in Winnipeg and visit from out of town sometimes. Currently it is not a welcoming experience.
Favorite spot in the city for fish and chips! Not greasy at all and so flavorful.
Best fish and chips in canada (so far that I've tried). When eaten fresh, the fish is crispy and well seasoned, the batter does not overwhelm the fish, and the fish is NOT too moist, ruining the crispiness. The sauce accompanied with it is well made and compliments the fish perfectly. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried fergies. Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on first floor
The fish was rubbery and hard. Tough to cut the fish up with the wooden fork they provide. Tartar sauce was really good and the fries were dry. I had the 2 piece Halibut and fries, with four cans of pop. Came up to about $32. Will not go back.
