The pizza here was huge, the taste is mid. It's a nice homey feel.
Atmosphere is awesome but unfortunately the pizza is just not good. We've given it two opportunities and both times the dough isn't cooked all the way. The toppings slide off the pizza and you're forced to eat it with a fork and knife. We requested the pizza put back in the oven because it was so doughy, which they did. Howeve, they brought it back and it still wasn't cooked all the way. We brought the rest home, put it in the oven the next day and it was STILL too doughy. I believe it's just the quality of the dough. The hoagies were excellent. I would try pasta here or hoagies, but I could never do the pizza again.
The pizza dough is thicker than some others which stays softer and chewier. The seating area is not very large. They don't really have the space to seat a group larger than 8 and you might have to wait some time to get seated. Prices are reasonable and portions generous. The peppercorn ranch dressing is wonderful! Update Jan 2024: we had lunch and got hot subs, a meatball and spicy Italian. Both were very good! $15.50 each after tip (waters). The spicy Italian is spiced, not hot spicy, although there was a little warmth in it.
A coworker told me about this place, he said it was very good, I have to agree with him, very good food, keep up the good work !! Two thumbs up
The people were all happy and spot on. Top 5 best pizzas in Mn.
Great service; best pizza in Minneapolis! Two pieces of pizza and you need a nap the topping are so huge. Only wish I had room for the gelato.
