Sausages only cooked on one side, beans warmed up from day before dry and clumped together.
It was our first visit and definitely wont be the last, my friend was celebrating a special birthday, we booked for 1.30pm but got there an hour early as wasnt as difficult to find as thought, explained to the owner Martin we were early any chance of fitting us in, he and the rest of the staff did so without a fuss even though it meant them juggling the seating, this was impressive. The food was a divine carvey with everything you can imagine, the staff plate your meal up and are very generous asking what you would like all the way through the choices. Very well worth the trip very reasonable and all the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Book as does get really busy. Enjoy. We did
Visited as a family for the Sunday carvery. Great food, lots of options. Especially loved the cauliflower cheese! Puddings are also very generous portions and very tasty.
Our 3rd visit for Sunday lunch, delicious food, always hot, had dessert this time too, didn't disappoint and will definitely visit again.
Best place for a Sunday lunch/ carvery in Derbyshire. spot an food an spot on price. amazing friendly service from Martin
This place doesn’t deserve any stars, the staff in the food hall yesterday was rude and ignored me to the point of seeing someone she recognised behind me and took his order instead, we voted with our feet and left, disgusting attitude, if you’re not a regular, go else where
Absolutely brilliant food, the farmers favourite at Bakewell cattle market!
Full English just hit the spot on a cold morning. Great quality for the price
