I am absolutely disgusted to say the least! The young ‘girls’ working (as described to me) were absolutely useless, rude and lack customer service skills and have stinking attitudes that not only won’t get them far in customer service but also not in life. The way I was spoken to after making a simple comment and I quote “I could’ve been served 10 minutes ago” (as I was waiting to pay for 2 soft drinks out of the fridge) led this one girl to tell me that ‘she wasn’t going to serve me because i’m rude’. At this stage I am absolutely furious as I had just qued up for 10 minutes and not one staff member had any urgency about them and I was waiting to get served even though there was no reason for me to be waiting as staff was stood around talking as though time had been put on hold! And then to top it off I am presented by this lack of knowledge silly little girl that has the audacity to turn around to me and tell me she is not serving me because I am rude after making a passing comment about how long it has taken them to serve me. I then exclaimed I would like to see a manger which she did for me very quickly I think it was the only thing she knew how to do effectively. I am then presented by an absolute embarrassment how this woman can call herself a manager i’ll never know! I explained my customer experience and told her I am not interested in what she does with her staff just let me purchase my drinks and off I go as she had an even bigger que in which she replied if you apologise I will serve you as though I am a child! I was absolutely lost for words and could not believe the way I was treated. I then went to the main desk and told them about my experience in the cafe and asked to speak to another manager as I was flabbergasted. They then brought me a chap called Matt who was even more useless and was the manager in sales. I was even more disgusted with the comments he made about my size and how this could’ve ’intimidated them as they are young girls and I am a big bloke’ They were all very argumentative and not once provided me with an alternative or an explanation for their poor staff and not once attempted to make me a satisfied customer, absolutely disgusting. So un professional on every level and so bad for business. After spending the other month £800 on a helmet I thought I would’ve been at least treated with general morals and decent respect as a human but clearly not. For sure if this was my business I wouldn’t have one of them working for me and I would give my head a wobble on who I give a ‘managers’ title too if you can call the monstrosity’s such a thing. It was actually insulting to find out these were called managers!

It lost its way a while back when it was in ownership transition, but settled down now and makes for a welcome stop. Very popular at weekends and it's card only payment, but parking is free.

Ok when it's quiet, but staff struggle to keep up when it's busy.

Food used to be really good but since it's been taken over very poor food had a sausage cob no flavour to the sausage and the bread roll was very doughy coffee not as good either all in all if I pay another visit I won't be eating again
