Evergreen Bread & Cocktail Lounge

Hands down the best bread I've had in Colorado. Stopped in for a morning breakfast bearclaw, really good flake but filling needs to come up to match. Got some ham and cheese croissant for tomorrow and a multi grain sourdough. Oh my goodness. Slept on the bread til dinner distracted by breakfast treats and wow! Did not skimp on seeds and the sesame oil on the crust?! So very very good, quality at its peak.

I had no idea Evergreen Bread Lounge had more than just bread. The have done such an incredible job expanding and have a great variety of foods. Delicious and friendly staff and love that they support local.

A little pricey

Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich was amazing!

Really, really good baguettes. The best I’ve had in Denver area since The Med closed in Boulder (they supplied Cured and Brasserie among others). I think Bread Lounge baguettes are even better. Their breakfasts are great, good coffee, great pastries.. really glad to have found them hiding back there in Bergen Village.

I couldn't just get one cheese in my grilled cheese so, I tried eating it and it made me gag from too much cheese.. so we paid an arm and a leg for me to only be able to have one bite lol. Little ridiculous that you "can't separate the cheese blends because it's pre done" Wouldn't it make sense to blend it with your hands once you get the order? Doesn't seem like a tough task.

Oh my gosh! Me and my hubby absolutely love this place. We have only been a few times so far but every single time they knock it out of the park. Yesterday we went by after an intense day of skiing and were wiped. We ordered pastries to eat for breakfast the next day: I got a Kouign-amann and hubby got the monkey bread. We were so hungry while waiting for them to make the rest of the food and scarfed down the pastries while waiting and oh my goshhhh. The Kouign-amann was so freaking good. The monkey bread had me about to faint it was so good. There are no words. Just go try it! We also ordered a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich each. Love it on the Pullman sourdough! Always such fresh ingredients. Then we also ordered a Detroit style pizza for later, and omg the pizza🥹it was so good again. We ordered the pizza with the cheese bechamel sauce, sausage, tomatoes, and garlic. Absolutely chef’s kiss. This place knows food and they sure as heck know bread! Thank you evergreen bread and cocktail lounge, we love you!! Oh and last thing: love the vibes in here. So cute and cozy❤️❤️
