Wonderful restaurant with a stunning view of The Alhambra. Ask to sit on the Terrace. We both had risotto, octopus for my wife and wild boar for me. Super delicious! The tapas are great as well. Kind, attentive staff. Highly recommended! Reservation needed.

El peor de todos los carmenes que he estado. Nos dijeron que habría mesa en la terraza para la hora de llegada dado que una de sus mesas se iría para la hora que nosotros llegamos. Además en cuanto llegamos, añadieron que aún no se habría ido pero que nos moverían en caso de que se fuera ( la mesa en cuestión empezó a las 20:00 y teníamos reserva para las 22:00 ) Sí veis que no se iba no intentéis meternos en un sitio que no queríamos reservar y decid directamente que NO hay reserva posible en vez de tratarnos como si fuéramos guiris que es para lo único que vale este " Carmen " Turist: There are better restaurants in order to watch the Alhambra. My wife and I had dinner here on May 2nd of this year. During the afternoon on a walk through the Albeyzin neighborhood we had stopped into this interesting looking restaurant just to see it and had a pleasant chat with, I believe, the owner who was sitting in the garden. So we returned that night taking a cab most of the way up the hill and walking the rest of the way in the narrow streets. We sat in the Garden, with lush plants, strings of lights, and heaters because it was a bit chilly. We had a wonderful gourmet meal beginning with croquettes and then moving to Turbo and Cod, which were excellently prepared with very nice vegetables and sauces. This was complemented by a very nice local wine suggested by the waiter. Afterwards the waiter invited us to go up to the deck on the top floor, where we had an excellent view of the Alhambra lit up at night. (Some people were having dinner up here although it was a bit chilly.) The inside of the restaurant is also very quaint (and warmer).

We sat on the deck with a beautiful view of the Alhambra and enjoyed a welcome cool breeze. The soup, salad and octopus were enjoyable.
