El Taco Loco

El Taco Loco was originally opened in 1980 as Taqueria San Jose by three friends. Over the next few years Taqueria San Jose grew and gained a following with its Mexican cuisine . In 1986, Roberto Sanchez, one of the three owners, ventured out on his own to open a second taqueria on 29th and Mission Street called El Taco Loco. By 1990 Roberto and his two friends decided to part ways and open their own businesses. Roberto kept Taqueria San Jose and reopened it as El Taco Loco in 1991. 27 years later, El Taco Loco continues to attract customers with its authentic recipes.
