Do you have taste buds? Then this restaurant is not for you. There is ZERO flavor. I got the chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and let me share that I am a vet tech - I often feed animals canned chicken because it's bland and easy to digest - I have no doubt this chicken in the enchilada came from a can, as well as the beans. I could not finish my meal, it was so bad. This was the 2nd worst Mexican food I have ever had (1st was Mexican food in Idaho; just don't do it, okay?) and I am so sorry to write this review, but I must be honest. I live down the street from this place and often walk by it. No one is ever inside. And now I know why. Please, for the love of SoCal, change your food.
Fake reviews. No flavor. You can make better food at home. How are they still in business?
Que comida tan fea, super mal servicio.
Everything is great for a little hang out. The lady who took my order was nice but sadly my nopales breakfast burrito was not great and I love nopales. It’s hard to find places who serve it. But this burrito was served with white American sandwich cheese that was layered and cut up. It was an overwhelming taste since some of the cheese melted but a lot of it was still cold. I tried taking it out but at the end I just couldn’t do it. I didn’t ask for a refund or anything cause I don’t want to take away from their business but I don’t think I could do another meal there again.
Burrito was terrible no flavor … not Mexican at all!!!
Nostalgia brought us here seeking Mexican candy, snacks and sodas in our new neighborhood and we were pleasantly satiated. The station they play on their outdoor speakers churn out songs from my childhood and the staffs warm reception overrides that nothing will ever beat my own mamás cooking, but at least I can get my sweet tooth fill at this local mom and pop shop in Oak Park.
