What a fun place!! Food was good, not outstanding but a good solid meal. The service tho’ was outstanding! Our server was friendly and happy to see us. She promptly took our order and checked back timely.

There was black hair in my salsa. 🤮 freakin gross.

Great Taco lunch!!!

I go here all the time for dine in and take out. It’s perfect when you’re craving Mexican on a weeknight after a long day. I really like the Fajita Salad with chicken. Very filling! Also their margaritas are delicious and HUGE! I ordered a medium and I would guess it’s 16oz? Sadly wasn’t able to finish it all, I was too full 😂

Came upon this sweet little Mexican bar and restaurant and really enjoyed myself. The staff was amazing. The atmosphere was great. The food was very good. For some reason, the rice, which I love, was very bland and that surprised me. I wonder if it was just a bad batch. Anyway, the rest of it was awesome.

WAY overpriced for what you get. Two of us cost $43 not including tip. We had no alcohol or starters. My chimi was the size of a grocery store burrito. The quesadilla was really small too. There are much better places to spend your money with better value.

Really good takeout

El Jinete has become our favorite local “watering hole;” We love the food, we love the service, and they always have great music playing! Tonight I had the Quesadilla Tropical, with steak, chicken, and shrimp, pineapple, onions, peppers, cheese, etc. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like here, and the large margarita is HUGE. My wife loves the sangria margarita annd Arroz con Pollo, and the chips with queso are magnificent!

Staff and atmosphere are great. Parking is limited. Good outdoor seating but next to the parking lot, which can be hot. My Deluxe Burritos,chips and salsa and margaritas were good, the Taco Salad was way too greasy, a pool of liquid at the bottom of the bowl. For a salad, the meat needs to be a lot drier and not so much. It made the taco salad shell too soggy. Still good enough for a return visit. Good Happy Hour deals

I order take out from here almost every week. The food's good, the margs are even better, and the staff is super nice.
