We love coming here on taco Tuesday!! The nachos and tacos are delicious and the service is always great!

So, this was the third place I went to after moving to Lynchburg from N.J. Let me say how I wished it was my First, from the atmosphere to the Food and not to mention the Fantastic Bartenders, that make you feel do welcome! If you come alone or with someone you will feel like a old friend. This is a Must go to! Check out their Awesome Happy Hour too.. Save yourself time and just walk in. You will be so happy you did....

Not good tacos. That one was supposed to be steak Mexican style……idk man where is the rest and it’s on the wrong tortilla

WOW, what a great taco stop in Lynchburg, VA!! I had just flown in from traveling all day and chose to visit El Jefe as my first stop in Lynchburg for dinner. I decided to sample a multitude of tacos and thoroughly enjoyed a pork carnitas taco, picadillo beef taco, chipotle chicken taco, and the carne asada taco with a side of spanish rice. Each taco tasted great! While I would would recommend trying all of the tacos, the best 2 would have to be the carne asada taco and the pork carnitas taco! The avocado cream sauce on the carne asada was just amazing! For dessert I got the churros. They were nice and as excepted as a classic dish. The deep fried bread topped with icing/ chocolate sauce and cream was fulfilling! The wait staff were extremely nice. I was taken care of by Bella during my time at El Jefe. Bella was very warm and welcoming!! Overall, I love El Jefe. Without a doubt I will visit again when back in Lynchburg!

This was a great experience. Food was great. Server was attentive and friendly. Love the setup. The cilantro lime shrimp tacos were perfect. Will be back soon.

Our first visit, Xavier made it incredibly enjoyable with excellent service, recommendations and what in now our favorite mexican food - thanks so much!! P.S. one of the best restaurants we've found for a good vegetarian menu - we're not used to having so many good choices!
