El Chavo Mexican Restaurant

El Chavo is permanently closed. It was a pleasure to serve a blend of both familiar and somewhat uncommon authentic flavors from beloved street vendors and restaurants of Mexico City, Guadalajara, and other large and small-town culinary cultures of Mexico, in the food court of the 100,000--sq-ft Saraga International Grocery - Castleton (just a mile and a half west off the East 82nd Street exit from I-69 on the Indianapolis northeast side). El Chavo Mexican Restaurant was an especially flavorful part of the amazing international foods adventure of Saraga International Grocery at Castleton, Indianapolis. Chef D's now occupies the food court space, with a large menu of breakfast and Mexican dishes.
