Eddie's Diner

We've eaten here about a dozen times while in Plano and have never been disappointed. The food and service are great, it is always clean and never overly noisy. Today we had a waiter named Tommy who was attentive without being intrusive and had a great sense of humor as well! 5 stars for sure but also, consistently 5 stars.

We were a party of 16. Eddie’s Diner does not take reservations. We called 30 minutes before to let them know that we were coming. Yes, there was a bit of a wait but they were very accommodating and pleasant. They arranged for us to all sit together, gave us our own server and fast service. The food was great; everyone got what they wanted. I was very pleased and would go back there again!

Good place for breakfast, brunch and lunch!

Our family loved Eddie's Diner. Its a popular spot - for good reason, so there's a little wait on weekend mornings to get a table. Every order was delicious - omlettes, pancakes, Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns, cinnamon roll - we literally could not stop eating. You won't be disappointed - great quality and portions you feel good about paying for. Definitely coming back.

The grits...they should be ashamed: watery, bland, not very hot, and a half cup serving. Hash browns on other plates made me envious. Chicken fried chicken was great.

We used a discount coupon and even though it was listed on our receipt, it was not taken off the total price. This has happened twice. We even pointed out to our server that it was not deducted, but he claimed it was right. We will not return.
