We’ve been grateful for the chance to offer multiple Ethiopian coffees this year! Now, we get the chance to share yet another. Hailing from Southern Ethiopia, we present Ardi. Ardi continues to express the diverse, fruit-forward flavors found in Ethiopian Naturals, this time accompanied with notes reminiscent of pastries and cream. The result is a coffee that works just as well as a pour-over as it would as a supplement to tea-time!
The coffee originates from the Biru Bekele Washing Station, located in Ethiopia’s Oromia region. Named after the owner, Biru began growing coffee almost twenty years ago before establishing the washing station in 2018. Since then, he has been able to export the crop of many surrounding smallholders, helping to establish a reputation for the region’s production of high-quality coffee.
