    • Mirabello Pinot Grigio

      A versatile, textured PG sourced from selected vineyards in the Veneto. Produced from selected Pinot Grigio grapes grown in the Veneto. The grapes were hand harvested during the first 2 weeks of September. The grapes were crushed and gently pressed and the juice allowed to settle and clarify before cool fermentation at 16 to 18C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was bottled young after a period of 3 to 6 months aging on fine lees in stainless steel tanks.

The vibrant red fruit flavors continue across the palate, with interest and complexity provided by layers of forest floor, spice and toasty oak. Supple tannins and balanced acidity provide an elegant frame for the rich ripe fruit of this classical Oregon Pinot Noir. A combination of barrel and stainless steel fermentation is used to preserve the maximum fruit intensity. The wine was finished unfined with only rough filtration, resulting in a Pinot Noir with intense fruit and smooth tannins.
