On March 17, 1956 Don and Elma Stepp opened a homemade candy store in Casper, Wyoming, that was destined to become a tradition in many families across Wyoming, the nation and around the world. They worked many hours handcrafting candy canes, lollipops, fudges, popcorn and candies as well as packaging gifts for all occasions. Elma’s mother and their son Mike were also recruited for manpower during holidays. Over time some things have changed. One thing hasn’t changed, the quality that comes from the care and pride that are part of each recipe. Come visit Donells and watch the next generation of candy makers, Mike and his son Ryan create the most delicious homemade confections, ice cream, and espresso you’ll ever taste.
