오늘이 마지막이라고 하니 굉장히 아쉽네요ㅠ
더 자주 올껄ㅠㅠ
그동안 감사히 잘 먹었습니다 :)
나중에 본점에서 뵐께요!
First time trying this restaurant. I was a very loyal customer at their Irving location because I lived nearby and know the food is good. This location has the same high-quality food, and the service is just so nice. When the staff was serving the kimchi, she accidentally spilled a little juice on my hand. I didn’t think it was a big deal and just wiped it off myself. But she saw it, apologized sincerely, and I told her it was nothing. A little while later, she came back and gave me a Sprite, saying it was on the house 😂. Lately, I’ve encountered a lot of staff with bad attitudes, so by comparison, their service is really a breath of fresh air.
Yes! This is authentic and delicious Korean fare right here!
Super clean, staff was completely working hard and the food….AMAZING! The ox tail soup I got (#7 is a basic and great starter for anyone trying first time) was full of so much meat, all fall of the bone tender and a mix of cold noodles and veggies. The broth wasn’t spicy but was so rich and delicious! My cousin got #8, this is a medium spicy and soooo delicious. I believe his had the brisket and oxtail.
And we have the option of purple or white rice!
They even have a robot to bring your food!
I didn’t have high expectations so I was knocked out my socks! I strongly recommend!!!
Incredible place for seolleongtang. Meat is fresh and they give you a lot. The kimchi is also fresh and has a sweet taste, which I love. A must visit place for our family!
I would give more like 3.5 stars but that rounds up to 4 stars. Overall the food was really good. I ordered the galbi tang. It was very flavorful. Service was not bad. Only downside is no free tap water. They only serve tea. And it’s $1 for bottle water.
It was pretty nice korean style taste. I really recommend to you here when u want to eat korean style soup.
Healthy food not like fried chicken.
Ordered the beef soup with brisket; great that the fat is removed. It was not very heavy & I like the fact that you can season to your taste. It hit the spot on a chilly spring day.
If you want a lighter meal, this is good. I appreciate the simple, no frills menu, just wish there was an appetizer section since I didn't feel full & was hungry a few hours later.
#7 Galbi Tang
FLAVORFUL and sweet. It's a little bit on the pricier side but honestly so much better than the other plain ox bone soups. Not bad just not my taste
Comes with glass noodles which is a big plus bc I'm a big noodle soup fan
Very authentic Korean food! So glad we've tried this place. It was nice and cool inside and which made perfect for a hot stone soup even though it was 91 outside.
The food my family and I ordered was alright. We did experience one issue with something we ordered. My parents ordered the purple rice as a side dish and when all the side dishes were served to us, they gave us white rice. We did ask one person why my parents got white rice instead of purple rice, and they said that they had ran out of purple rice. While we were eating our food, we noticed that three other tables got purple rice, which reall confused us because we were told that they ran out.
I feel like the person giving us our food should have told us that they were making a new batch, but we were not told about that at all. Even our waitress didn’t even notice that my parents had gotten the white rice and not what was ordered, when asking for the bill.
Overall, the food was good but the service was not the best for us. I hope they can do better with that.
Korean beef soup restaurant at the end of the 99 Ranch complex. They specialize in galbitang and a variety of other beef soups. We got the #1 (beef soup with noodles) and #8 (spicy galbitang). They were both really good on a cold day.
The beef soup had a milky white broth that you could tell is loaded with nutrients and everything good for your body. They were pretty generous with the brisket too. This soup you season yourself at the table with salt and pepper. It's a great option if you want something more simple and want to taste the beef bone broth.
The spicy galbitang definitely had more flavor in a sour and spicy way. Big pieces of short rib and cabbage that soak up all the flavor.
They both come with white or purple rice and a variety of banchan. I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and flavorful the banchan was.
Highly recommend coming here for some hearty Korean soup.
