Dolcezza is a wild dream and the love story of Violeta and Robb. An argentine girl met an american boy in the amazon jungle. Their 3 month odyssey across Brazil finalized in a Buenos Aires gelateria. That first night the idea was born, the idea of bringing argentine gelato to America. In 2004, Violeta and Robb founded Dolcezza in Washington, DC. Today, Dolcezza serves argentine gelato in 6 shops, 100 restaurants and 1500 grocery stores throughout the country. Their gelato is regarded by many, including Saveur, Bon Appetit, Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, to be among the very best in the country.
