Gelato typically contains 70% less air and more flavoring than other kinds of ice cream, giving it a density and richness that distinguishes it from other ice creams. Since Gelato has less fat and is served warmer than ice cream, the flavors come through more and are more intense. These factors also make for a smoother consistency whereas ice cream has more ice crystal texture. Our dairy free Artisan Sorbetto has 50% natural fruits, sugars, thickeners and water.
