Dix Coney Island Denton

I decided to go on a friend date here after the local Waffle house unfortunately did not meet my diner house dreams (usually I'm a waffle house fanatic). My friend and I sat at the counter, we arrived around 10. W closing at 11. The server was super relatable, silly and attentive. I appreciated the server Alexa's willingness to go above & beyond with welcoming my friend & I and helping us navigate the menu. I'm pescatarian & Alexa gave bomb food suggestions. I got the TG bowl w the recommended black bean patty substitution & some jalapeños & cheddar added. I also got a Nutella, banana, & strawberry waffle. The food was so freaking good. Best I've had at a late night spot, and we got lots of good laughs in. Give this place a visit whether local or not! In the words of my very Texan friend, Eat here y'all

Menu options are pretty good, really nicely surprised they served breakfast all day long. Location is in downtown Denton which is nice, building is old which to be expected but needs some good cleaning. Service was outstanding, however I am personally wasn’t impressed with the food. It wasn’t bad but I just didn’t enjoy it much, but again it just my personal opinion.

Everytime I visit ,the service and food is awesome! The only downside is when you are in a party of 4 or more your food doesn't come out on time. Party of 9 for example. Two people where almost done with their by the time my husband received his food. He was the last one. It wasn't busy. Other than that. Everything is great.

The beef bacon is heavenly!! Very kind staff as well.

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Jessica was our server and she had the best service. Food was great aswell. Definitely would recommend this place for a good meal.
