Cantina Tramin was founded in 1898 by Christian Schrott, the parish priest of Tramin, during a challenging time for local winegrowers. Through Christian's vision and dedication to establishing this cooperative, he secured a stable future for the region’s growers—one that has thrived for over 125 years. The rugged terrain of the area makes mechanized farming nearly impossible, highlighting the crucial role these cooperatives play. Without them, many growers wouldn’t have the means to produce wine independently.\n\nToday, the cooperative is comprised of 160 families cultivating more than 270 hectares (667 acres). In the 1990s, under the leadership of winemaker Willi Stürz, the focus shifted toward crafting more distinctive, site-specific, and premium quality wines. From Pinot Blanc and Gewürztraminer to Pinot Noir and Lagrein, Tramin offers a stunning range of varietals, available as both single-variety wines and blends. We can't wait to share these exceptional wines with you!\n\nWe're thril
