Steak didn't have a nice crust and seemed to be cooked in an oven. Very disappointing to say the least. After years of being a go to for a good steak in NOLA it'll be a long time before we go back...

Great steak house

Disappointed. Came here for my birthday dinner with my fiancé. We were already a bit frustrated after we sat at our table for the first 30 minutes without having anyone speak to us or even pour water in our glasses. Finally a waiter came up and filled our water glass and took our order, and he was nice. Now our online reservation said it was a birthday dinner, and we told our waiter as well, and we watched several tables around ours be serenaded with a “happy birthday” song by an a cappella group and receive a birthday dessert. We waited for our turn and it never came. Our waiter brought us the bill and said “Happy birthday again.” This was very disappointing as we had spent hundreds of dollars to eat here and were not acknowledged for the first 30 minutes at all, and then no birthday celebration either? Just disappointed.

Melt in your mouth steaks. Amazing wine selection and Big John, our waiter made our time fun and special. He was absolutely the best!!!

My wife and I had dinner here and it was amazing. Jeffrey was our waiter and he took perfect care of us. From keeping water full to great recommendations of places to go around town, he was on point! We started off with the crab cake and oysters, both appetizers were divine! I highly recommend them, from there we had the soups my wife got the seafood and andouille gumbo, while I opted for the turtle soup with a little sherry. You can't go wrong with either. We each got filets and they came out perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth like butter. If you're considering this place for a dinner stop thinking and go! Make sure to request Jeffrey if he's there and enjoy his bubbly and on point service!

Our server Nick was fantastic, the food was to die for. This place is a wonderful example of understated, fine dining with true southern hospitality. We will visit again when we're in town!
