Great music, great staff, great food and some really well maintained pinball machines. Can get a little crowded for my tastes but I'm glad to see their success.

Great stuff, great concerts, great guests

Came here for a drag night and it was a lot of fun! Typical bar food, good but not great. You get what you expect but the service was outstanding especially for an event where everyone comes and orders at the same time, very impressed. Mars was our server and they were incredible! Thanks Mars and thanks Dickens for a fun time!

There was something wrong with the tap lines last night. We had what tasted like pure vinegar that was supposed to be beer. We asked for a can or bottle of beer, but they would only replace it with another draft beer, which also tasted like vinegar.

I love coming to Dickens! I always feel welcomed and love when they host different kinds of drag shows. My favourite part about Dickens is their massive selection of non-alcoholic beverages!! They have different beers, wines, mocktails, all NA. Being a sober girly it’s important for me to feel included when I go out with friends and Dickens definitely knows how to cater to the sober community. I’ve been there for several seated events where lots of people arrive all at once and the staff (I don’t know how) always manage to take care of everyone in a timely manner. It’s also one of the few places in YYC that never messes up my order, drinks or bill. Lol major slay

One of my new favourite places in Calgary. Great bands, excellent sound, wonderful staff.
