We love the other location but we’ve been at this location a couple of times and have been disappointed. The food is lacking flavor. The noodles and dumplings are too wet, if that makes sense.

When you walk into a place and there is a lady behind the counter making scratch dumplings, you know it has the chance to be legit. This place did not disappoint. Wings amazing. Spicy dumplings, fire and good. Also got the spicy chicken and white rice. When finished, my sinuses were clear. Would definitely recommend this place.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this place was so horrible that I felt obligated. Hands down, the worst “Chinese Food” we have eaten anywhere … ever! The sign reads “Authentic Chinese Food” … there was nothing authentic about the food here. We ordered multiple dishes and each one was 0/10. Salt&Pepper Squid: looked nothing like the picture. Resembled battered, frozen, thin-sliced calamari rings that you can buy in a higher-end grocery store. Shu Mai: looked nothing like the picture, little flavor, but the only thing that was barely edible. Vegetable spring rolls: overcooked / cooked in old oil. Served with a disgusting, fluorescent orange sauce that came straight from a jar. Stir-fry noodles with chicken : chicken was overcooked/rubbery, lacked any flavor. It was if the chicken was pre-boiled and then thrown in a sauce for the last minute. Noodles were gummy and vegetables were bottom grade. Sauce tasted like it was also straight out of a jar. Xiao long bao: nothing like the picture. 95% certain that they were previously frozen as the dough deteriorated when touched and they fell apart trying to pick them up, leaking out the key soup that they are known for. The waiter’s response to us was a condescending reply that we need to be more delicate with our chop-sticks … he nervously disappeared after I told him that I lived in Hong Kong, Taipei, and China for nearly 6 years and I know how to use chop-sticks. The second attempt was delivered by the chef who was unapologetic, but did state that she cooked them for less time … unfortunately, they fell apart just like the first attempt. Side order of enoki: usually ordered for their Hot Pot, I asked them if they could just saute the mushrooms and toss in some sesame oil. I’m not sure how they were cooked, seems like they were briefly put in a microwave and then covered in the same disgusting orange sauce that was served with the egg rolls. No one followed up after the food was served, and again did not follow-up after the second xiao long bao. We just asked for our check, and wanted to leave as fast as possible. I would give this place zero stars if it was possible. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Crazy terrible food!!!Just not edible, two attempts to make dumplings failed, but they included them in the bill...everyone didn't care...the sauces are terrible...the chicken is terrible...the prices are high! we actually threw away $70 and left hungry! I am a big lover of Chinese food! But this place is nothing familiar with delicious chines food !avoid it all cost!

Every time we come to nola which is once a month we come here. Food is awesome. Best "Real" chinese food in the French quarter.. love this little place..

The wait staff were uninterested, the food was oily and bland. We were expecting a hidden gem and what we got was a total dud. I'm not sure where all the 4 * reviews came from
