Half full bar bar, the bartender and barback were too busy to serve beer. Never tasted any beer, left thirsty after 20 min.
My boyfriend Eddie Wright can no longer come up there and I mean it
The best Brewery in the city!!!
Came here to eat after the Detroit Half Marathon. Snagged two seats at the bar so we could be in and out. Grabbed a beer. Had the Oktoberfest. I ordered the Creole Chicken pasta. My friend got the burger with sweet potato fries.
I was more than pleased with my pasta entree. The bread was good as well. I was hungry and put it all away, but any ordinary meal, I would have had leftovers.
Service at the bar was attentive and we could sample a couple of beers before settling on one. Had the football game on at the bar.
Limited seating, but it was a cozy environment.
The Creole pasta was really good. Beer I had was also really good. Enjoyed the beer brewing equipment on display and atmosphere inside.
Friendly service too!
Always enjoy the food at Detroit Beer Company! Working in the area, it’s super easy to call in an order and pick up in 10min!
It was my First time going here also just being downtown i loved it i got taken care of by a guy named tyler he made the experience so good for
us he was very nice and social i recommend this place for customer service and there brew!
So disappointed. Thought this would be a great choice since we had tickets to the Detroit Opera House. We're we wrong. Over 10nminutes before anyone even came over. Thought we would do better by ordering everything at once. Another 10 minutes to get the beer. Soup came with the entree. When I told the server we had theater tickets and needed the bill when the food came out, he said "Oh, so you want me to check in your food?" Thought that was part of the job? My daughter's fish and chips was so dry she couldn't eat it. No time to even ask for a manager because we were already running late. Won't be back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Beer was not good. Old, caramelized and loaded with butter.
Best nachos ever, and such a great atmosphere on game days!
I've loved this place for many years, it's been my go-to for food and drinks before any event downtown. However, I was in here on September 7, 2024 for dinner before the Green Day concert at Comerica and I don't think I'll be back again. I don't know when it happened but they upped their beer prices to $8/pint (we had Detroit Dwarf, local 1529, and pilsner) which is insane. There are so many other places around with more reasonable beer prices that I cannot recommend this place anymore.
Amazing food! We came back for a 2nd time and almost a 3rd - the food was that good! Also nice to see a business that supports people with special needs.
Really great environment in the heart of downtown with a nice selection of brews. Our group tried a variety of what was on tap and enjoyed them all. Food was sub-par, the fish and chips being the favorite among what was ordered.
So far the best brewery in Detroit. I enjoyed the sour, IPAs, and the Pilsner. Food was good... I recommend the pretzel.
Bon choix de bières, service ok, burgers ok
