Great Mexican restaurant Nice indoor and outdoor seating Attentive server and friendly staff Food is decent and tasty Price is reasonable with great portion of food. They have half lunch special which is good for people who prefer smaller portion of food.

Delicious food at reasonable. Great weekly specials.

We ordered the Special Platter. It was perfect for the two of us.

Went for lunch today and very much enjoyed our food. The waitress, Leslie, was so friendly and attentive. I recommend the quesadillas!

Good Mexican food for the price service is great, and their happy hour drinks are also good, and each time I have been there, it's a busy place

Great lunch

I recently relocated to TX and have been sampling many different restaurants. Desperado catered an event I attended and the food was decent, but I wanted to partake in the entire dining experience so I decided to treat myself to dinner for my birthday. I was a party of one and was seated immediately. The restaurant was fairly empty, and after a considerable amount of time the waitress finally came over to take my drink order, and I placed my food order. The food arrived in reasonable time, but I never saw the waitress again after she took my order. After I finished my meal I waited another 30+ mins before someone came to see if they could remove my plate, at which time I asked for a takeout container. I waited an additional 15-20 mins until someone came and just left the check. Well, it would have been nice if I was offered the dessert menu or asked if I wanted anything else. Additionally, I needed to order takeout. After more waiting I decided to go to the hostess. Being my first time there I wasn’t sure how things worked. I explained to her that the waitress never came back after taking my order, and that I wanted to add additional food to my bill. She began to retell the story in Spanish to a gentleman. I assumed he didn’t speak English because she spoke to him in Spanish. He just stood there looking at me for a moment as if he was waiting for me to say something, and then rudely asked (in English) if I was ready to order. I don’t know what that was all about. I’ve never experienced that before. The food was decent but the service was terrible. I wish I had chosen a different place for a birthday dinner. I won’t go back.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant that has been around for a long time. I have also used takeout from this establishment.

The food is awesome…..but….the flan! I’ve had flan from everywhere and they have the best friggin flan of ever!!! I sometimes think about it and smile and people wonder why I’m smiling….its because of their flan!

Poor service from the waiter when delivering the bill; they didn't ask if we wanted it or if we needed anything else, just threw the bill and got upset because it would be split when paying. The food was served cold, very poor attention overall
