Dell'anima opened 10 years ago on October 24, 2007 in the heart of New York City's West Village, and the open kitchen and chef's counter provide a culinary stage for long time Executive Chef Andrew Whitney. Dell'anima means "of the soul" in Italian and the food features hearty, eloquent dishes of thoughtful simplicity. Our menu offerings change daily, and we use local, seasonal, sustainably harvested produce where possible. Whitney's menu features a selection of pastas made in-house daily, and his take on comforting Italian classics. Our largely Italian wine list features an array of small production, high-quality selections with an emphasis on traditional and natural wine making.
