Cozy Mexican restaurant. Slow to seat us but table service made up for the slow start. We all liked the chips for the table because they are quite thin. I asked for their best item, burritos, and this was a great choice. Two in the party are from Europe and both nodded their approval with smiles as they ate. Will be returning here.
I would give this place 1 star, but considering the food was actually amazing I'm giving them 2. I could not and still cannot believe a Mexican or "Tex-Mex" restaurant does not and will not carry a single ounce of hot sauce in the building. If I worked in this establishment I would write a letter to the owners to make this change because it's honestly insane to offer such good Mexican food and not offer some spice to customers who live the spicy life. It's a shame I'd have to bring my own bottle to enjoy some of the food on a spicier scale. I wouldn't go to a bar and expect to have to bring my own Grenadine.
Always enjoy coming to Del Rio.... I didn't think the salsa was as tasty as before but it was ok.
Amazing food at great prices
Was ignored at the front counter as a 20 top was told to wait the kid up front ignored me and walked off as we informed him we where a 3 top.
Did even get a chance to experience the food. My husband convinced me to give you guys another try because I’ve gotten food poisoning here many times. Walked in. Was not greeted at all. The.n after a 20 top was quoted 20 minutes. Didn’t even acknowledge that we were a 3 top and took a 4 top ahead of us. Then when we walked off my husband got ignored by the manager and the host a second time. Will NEVER come here again.
I didn't get either of the bartender ladies names that were working the last few times but they are fantastic! My food wasn't OG mexican food but the AL Pastor street tacos were pretty decent and you can never go wrong with margaritas! I'll hopefully get here again soon!
Don’t bother going here if you have allergies! They just flatly tell you it’s all cross contaminated and don’t even bother trying to help you find something safe to eat. I ate chips and salsa and guacamole while my husband enjoyed his meal. Dietary restrictions: DON’T bother coming here if you have dietary restrictions! I mentioned I had allergies so could my waitress please check to see if lard or cheese was mixed in the beans or just added to the dish. I was promptly told EVERYTHING was cross-contaminated and she didn’t even bother trying to help me find something I could safely eat. So I ate guacamole while my husband ate his dish. GO TO FIRSTWATCH INSTEAD! They COMPLETELY work with allergies!
