De Leon Foods

The ladies at De Leon Foods deli make the best tamales. Everything they make is good there but I love tamales & this is the place to get really good one's.

Great selection of dried chiles, spices, Mexican cheeses, snacks, you name it.

We went in for an easy lunch. Food is good and reasonably priced. We dined in so it gave us a chance to watch how the baked goods were set out in the display cases. Everything looked really good and we were going to purchase some items to take home until... one of the staff was filling the cases with new product without wearing gloves. Touching the cases to open that every other person has put their hands on and then would touch all the baked goods all the while without gloves. I don't know why one wouldn't open the doors to the cases first, next put on gloves and then place the baked goods onto the trays. For me that was a no go on trying any of the baked goods. Others may not care about that but we do. So as a result my rating is 3 stars instead of 4.

The food is wonderful! We go get the meat from the butcher counter for our party's. All the staff is very pleasant. Oh and the Crema de Pollo is amazing!
