DanceMor Ballroom

DanceMor Ballroom is a historic ballroom that originated in 1929 as an open air dance floor. DanceMor has seen thousands of acts throughout the decades and was inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Music Association Hall of Fame in 2005. In 2014, DanceMors’ doors were closed but on October 19th, 2018, the doors were reopened under new ownership with all its history and the original rock maple suspended dance floor still intact! Live music & dances are held every most every Saturday night between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Many classes and events are held at DanceMor throughout the week and the space is also available for weddings, graduations, class reunions and special events!
